Ahi Taco Illness Alert - BJ's Wholesale Club, Orlando Florida

2 years ago reported by user-krtjf861 business

BJ's Wholesale Club, Millenia Plaza Way, Orlando, FL, USA

4697 Millenia Plaza Way, Orlando, 32839 Florida, United States

On June 5th 2023 I had dinner here Way during happy hour, so about 1730. About an hour later I developed symptoms of staph food poisoning including abdominal cramps, nausea, and vomiting. I did not develop diarrhea, but the nausea and stomach cramping and then fatigue persisted for a full day. 8 hours after symptom onset PO challenge was tolerated and I continued home care including fluids and pepto bismol. The dish I believe caused the problem was the Ahi Poke Taco appetizer that I consumed as my entree. The avocado seemed a little wilted, which isn’t horribly abnormal, and it didn’t taste or smell off. It might have been slightly out of temperature when I received my plate. Please be sure to check on their cold holding and hand washing procedures. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Fatigue
