Food Safety Report: Boston Market, 10890 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States.

10890 Foothill Boulevard, Rancho Cucamonga, 91730 California, United States

Closure Date: 01-20-2022

Rodent infestation. An inspector visited to investigate six complaints. Four claimed the restaurant didn’t have hot water, one alleged the restaurant didn’t have a grade card on display (it received an 82/B in August) and one was from someone who said they saw rodent droppings. The inspector said a couple of sinks didn’t have hot water but others did, and the grade card was where it was supposed to be. But there were rodent droppings on the floor in multiple locations, including under food-prep areas, in a food storage room and under kitchen equipment. The four water complaints were filed on Thanksgiving day, when the restaurant drew outrage from customers who arrived to pick up prepaid holiday meals and found a sign saying orders wouldn’t be fulfilled because there was no staff. (A company spokesman later said customers did get their food after Boston Market’s leadership team went in.) Health inspectors tried to visit multiple times in November and December but found the restaurant still closed; an inspection report indicated it had just reopened last weekend.
