Ice Cream Illness Outbreak - Breyers, Middletown Rhode Island

Suspected source: Breyers Carb Smart Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Additional information: I thought maybe I had developed a quick onset of a severe lactose allergy,
10 days ago I ate Breyers Carb Smart chocolate peanutbutter ice cream. I’ve eaten this ice cream dozens of times over the years.

I even took lactose pills because I really love this ice cream and still wanted to enjoy it.

Well this has now happened 3 times this month. I have ruled out any other food.

Within 4 hours..violently throwing up..for at least an hour straight..pure liquid diarrhea for hours. Sweating, feeling like passing out.

I believe this food is contaminated. I purchased in Rhode Island at Shaws Supermarket April 2024. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Chills, Nausea, Fever, Cramps, Sweating
