I defrosted some frozen chicken thighs in my fridge for ~20 hours before cooking in a soup. Chicken smelled funky, but I assumed that the vacuum seal was just causing it, and that the smell would go away in a few minutes. I salted, seared, and cooked in a pan before adding to a soup (full boil). Hours later, I experienced horrible vomiting and diarrhea. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
