Undercooked Chicken Concerns - Chick-Fil-A, Ontario California

9 years ago reported by user-yvzfp816 business

Chick-fil-A, Ontario Mills Parkway, Ontario, California, USA

4350 Ontario Mills Parkway, Ontario, 91764 California, United States

I have eaten at Chick-fil-A in American Fork at least twice a week. The last two times, my chicken seemed under cooked and I could not eat one of the tenders because of that Last Tuesday, I picked up three chicken tenders and was sick just hours after. It was the only meal I had eaten all day. The chicken was undigested mostly I had every horrible gastrointestinal symptom from diarrhea to vomiting. I am a diabetic and so my illness lasted much longer. I was sick on Tuesday and wasn't feeling well right through Sunday. A nasty sickness. I have been to the doctor previously about other cases of food poisoning in the past. I am scrupulous about washing my hands and very fussy about where I eat. This surprised me about Chick-fil-A. I called the manager and he said that the chicken is timed. What he didn't say was whether they used a meat thermometer to determine if the chicken is truly cooked afterward. That's a step they're missing. Also, it could've been the handler of the chicken. There are a lot of young people working in the franchise and who's to say if they properly wash their hands. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Gas
