I have gotten sick from chik fil a. A Torrance location in the mall. Some of these locations, the workers are teenagers, and they aren’t practicing the standards of hand washing or proper food storage or food temperature control and there is cross contamination, etc. these employees come to work sick. I got sick in the same way and I am sure it was salmonella or some other type of poisoning, maybe bacterial.

Also, sorry to say, but the area/location sometimes has a lot to do with these poisonings, if you are going to a low income neighbor hood and getting food from minimum wage workers, you will get low quality, poor food handling. They don’t care who gets sick. It’s not their problem. I called the corporate and they didn’t care. I was very sick and it was a terrible experience!

I hope you reported this to the Health Dept. I had a similar experience in another fast food and reported it and that same day, the health inspector went to the place and inspected and closed it. They were fined and could not reopen until they passed an inspection. They were not properly refrigerating food. The temperature of their storage unit was way below the required standard.
