I got some croissants from here…mini croissants from their bakery (2 is a serving). When I got home, they seemed a bit dry, but I was late for an appointment and didn’t have time to figure something else out. I ate two anyway. Didn’t eat anything else, and later had a third. That night, I got very sick. I felt like my stomach was on fire and had terrible diarrhea. This continued, with gas and bloating, for 4 days. By day 2, I was crying and clutching my stomach. Day 3, moaning in the fetal position, shaking and sweating. Had acid reflux, vomiting bile, bloating, gas. Alternating black diarrhea and constipation, once dehydrated. Took Milk of Magnesia and was up all night. 4 days of running to the bathroom and in bed, and now all seems to be well. Had planned to go to the hospital today if things weren’t better, because I have a ride, and could not drive myself. I will not get croissants there again! They did not taste good, anyway. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Bloating, Sweating, Gas, Shaking, Constipation, Bile, Acid reflux

Milk of magnesia is a laxative. It likely made your diarrhea worse.
