Food Safety Report - Reese's, Macomb Illinois

7 years ago reported by user-yzczr873 business

Dairy Queen Ltd Brazier, West Jackson Street, Macomb, IL, United States

936 West Jackson Street, Macomb, 61455 Illinois, United States

I got a Large Royal Reese's Brownie Blizzard. The peanut butter in the middle was extremely runny. I'm not sure if it sat out too long or what. I got home and 10 minutes later I was cramping and felt naustious. 6 am I woke up with bad diarrhea and puking. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Cramps

Peanut butter is not a potentially hazardous food. It has a very low water activity of only .7 so bacterial cannot grow, even if left out. Additionally, even foodborne illnesses with the fastest incubation periods take an hour or more to make you start exhibiting symptoms so it is pretty unlikely that DQ got you sick. Did you eat anywhere else before DQ?
