Food Safety Report: Dockside Seafood, West River Street, Savannah, GA, USA.

7 years ago reported by user-bdzh7795 business

Dockside Seafood, West River Street, Savannah, GA, USA

201 West River Street, Savannah, 31401 Georgia, United States

We were visiting for business and decided to go dine by the River. We were looking for a different restaurant but honestly it was hot we were hungry and tired of walking which was a huge mistake!!! My husband and I ordered the shrimp basket which was overpriced for the amount of shrimp that comes with it however he ordered the rice and I ordered the German potato salad. Which was good but that soon turned into food poisoning. My husband did not get sick and the only difference was I ate the potatoe salad and he didn’t. Needless to say on our trip home to Mt. Dora, Fl immediately after lunch which is 4 hours away from Savannah I became violently ill ! I was nauseated about 10 minutes after we left the restaurant. I was throwing up and severely nauseated about 2 hours into the 4 hour trip home. Vomiting and being nauseated in a moving vehicle is the worst if you were wondering. If you do not refrigerate food properly or serve food that should have been thrown away days before this wouldn’t have happened!!! We will never ever be back! The department of health was notified ! If I could give Dockside Seafood a negative 5 stars I would but that was not an option on this website | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
