Food Safety Report: Garibaldi's Italian Eatery, West Higgins Road, Hoffman Estates, IL, United States.

Garibaldi's Italian Eatery, West Higgins Road, Hoffman Estates, IL, United States

2346 West Higgins Road, Hoffman Estates, 60169 Illinois, United States

I ordered spaghetti - plain, with sauce and meatballs on the side. I was about to shake Parmesan cheese into the spaghetti noodles and noticed a black bug, larger than an "ant" crawling inside the cheese shaker. I turned the shaker into an employee behind the counter where orders are received. I did not finish the meatballs and brought two of them home, where I transferred them to a glass Pyrex container for proper refrigeration outside of the styrofoam cup they were served in. During the night I became very sick, diarrhea, vomitting, sulphur "burping", extreme nausea.
I chose to throw out the two remaining meatballs. When I opened the lid, the odor that came out was so foul and rotten, unlike I've ever experienced in my 60+ years of life. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Burping
