Carnitas Tamale Food Poisoning - Gomez's Mexican Restaurant, Mammoth Lakes California

The carnitas tamales entree. I was interested to find out if anyone else ate at this location and got food poisoning from the carnitas tamale plate due the week of April 5th. It happened On Tuesday, April 5th my 17 year old daughter ate the Carnitas tamale plate at here at 8:00 pm. She start to experience food poisoning symptoms on Wednesday morning at 7:30am. She threw up every hour and had diarrhea until 1:30 PM when it finally stopped. I did call the restaurant to let the staff know they should alert their kitchen. They did apologize. We were a party of five and thankfully no one else got sick since they didn’t order the carnitas tamale plate. It was an unfortunate situation to have happen towards the end of our family vacation. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
