Frozen Sausage Roll Illness - Greggs, England

3 days ago reported by user-mgfq4532 business

Greggs, London N1C 4AP, United Kingdom

N1C 4AP England, United Kingdom

On Friday 28th February at 08.30, I purchased four ‘hot’ sausage rolls (you get four of the price of three) telling the assistant I wanted to eat one now and the rest for my journey and possibly to freeze when I got home, if any left. The assistant gave me one in a separate bag and three in another bag ands told me they weren’t hot and did that matter? I said no and paid. I ate one immediately with a coffee from another vendor. I caught my train but en route home my stomach began gurgling and I kept burping. By the time I got home (four hours later) I felt nauseous and unwell so went to bed. I had placed the remaining three sausage rolls in the freezer. This afternoon (three weeks later) I took one sausage roll out of the freezer to defrost and ate it at 9pm. I went to bed and by 2am my stomach was gurgling and I now have bad stomach cramps and diarrhoea. I feel chilled and nauseous. I realise my D&V on 28th February was due to the sausage roll I purchased from Greggs an all four must be contaminated.. I bought the sausage rolls from Greggs at Kings Cross Station in London. Greggs is situated up the escalator where there are several places to buy food and drinks. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Burping
