We (two people) were in the Marina district and had a different breakfast at Helen's Bakery around 11:00:My friend:
Arabic breakfast
Me:
Avocado Benedict
We later had dinner at “Bisto des Arts Dinner around 19:00 and we both ate it the same way:
Steak and mussels
Before 19:00, i.e. before dinner, my boyfriend started feeling nauseous, I had and have no symptoms so far.
So I'm sure it comes from breakfast, as we didn't eat or drink anything in between but bottled water.
Since around 8:30pm, my boyfriend has been vomiting and has diarrhea, fever, chills, etc. He is feeling more than bad, he can't even make it off the toilet.
In almost 15 years, I've seen my boyfriend vomit for the second time.
The first time was due to food poisoning and I am convinced that it will be the case again this time.
It is our first day here in Dubai, the situation is destroying our vacation!
To protect all other visitors, I am reporting this incident and hope that the cause can be found.
Compensation would be nice, but we still don't know who is responsible.
