Homemade Spaghetti Illness Mystery - Homemade spaghetti with pesto, Bologna Emilia-Romagna

My wife and I shared her homemade spaghetti in Bologna. I felt sick shortly after, and a few hours later I became sick for the next 10 hours and had to stay home the next day, unable to eat or drink. My wife was unaffected. This has happened to me a few times and my wife is never affected, but I get extreme food poisoning.
Mutti Tomato sauce, borilla spaghetti noodles, garlic, onion, pesto. Not sure what made me sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
