Hotel Hygiene Sparks Illness - Hotel, Corralejo Canarias

This week I stayed at this hotel, which leaves a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. They serve tap water and there are many cases of vomiting, diarrhea and fever, all with similar symptoms and the people at the hotel always say it's a virus, they don't blame their deplorable hygiene. The rooms are riddled with insects, among which there are giant cockroaches, the likes of which I have never seen before. At the hotel, the employees themselves help you when they see this, as they are very used to poisoning here. When I went to the emergency room, the doctors themselves warned me of the number of weekly cases they treat from this hotel. I DON'T KNOW HOW HEALTHCARE DOESN'T CLOSE IT, YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH PEOPLE'S HEALTH LIKE THAT. SHAMEFUL | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting

I had food poisoning twice in the 3 weeks i stayed there Feb-March 24. I was ill for 3 days each time, i reported it to the management by emain on both occasions, and both messages were completely ignored. I reported it to Tui, and was informed that it is an on going problem that they constantly report to management but nothing is ever done to eradicate the problem. The cooking staff have poor food hygiene standards. When i reported this to management i was told "its a 3 star hotel"
