I had about $30 worth of sushi Monday 12/14/2020 including spicy tuna rolls and combo rolls I left feeling nauseous went through the whole day Tuesday feeling too nauseous to eat anything until Wednesday morning about 5:30am I was woken up with intense stomach pains and the vomiting and diarrhea started I have spent most of the day on the bathroom floor with severe cramps and I have thrown up 10 times from 5:30am to 3pm and the sushi was the last thing I had eaten I currently can’t keep any food down but sipping on some chicken broth has seemed to help its 7:45pm on Wednesday and the stomach cramps have stopped and I’m starting to feel better but still scared to eat anything | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Stomach Pain

You had the stomach flu....Not food poison. If you left the restaurant nauseous, you were already sick from the stomach flu. Food poison doesnt happen instantly.

Hi, thanks for your comment. While it’s true that some types of food poisoning take time to show symptoms, others, like Staph or norovirus, can cause symptoms within 30 minutes to a few hours. That’s why we encourage people to report anything suspicious so public health officials can investigate further. Hope this is helpful. Best, Iwaspoisoned.
