Confirmed Campylobacter from Sub - Jimmy John's, Arlington Heights Illinois

8 years ago reported by user-cgnzr268

Jimmy John's, Arlington Heights, IL, United States

1299 N Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, 60004 Illinois, United States

Had a gargantuan like I always have with bag of chips and a coke and it was my first food of the day. Within two or three hours I started feeling muscle soreness that kept increasing and by dinner all I wanted to eat was soup. I figured it was the flu but after spending 2.5 days in bed with fever and diarrhea I've come to believe this was food poisoning and that Gargantuan appears the likely culprit.

Update: Test Doctor results came back today and confirmed Campylobacter. I did go to Doctor because it was not getting better. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea
