Italian Subs Cause Illness - Jimmy John's, Tucson Arizona

4 years ago reported by user-njxnq836 business

Jimmy John's, North Campbell Avenue, Tucson, AZ, USA

2575 North Campbell Avenue, Tucson, 85719 Arizona, United States

Was brought home sandwiches from my mom, she got some type of veggie sandwich, no issues, and both my father and I ordered the Vito which is their Italian sub. I ate the sandwich before I went to sleep and they ate a couple hours before me, they both went to sleep with no issues, upon waking up I was told my dad was not feeling well at all, he had been throwing up and had problems with the restroom. I was shocked, I had the sandwich countless times before and thought maybe something else, but within 30 minutes of me getting out of bed I was on the toilet vomiting uncontrollably. I also just woke from a 4 hour fever nap and had to continue in the restroom, albeit with more control. My dad is still sleeping which is completely unusual for this time (~2p.m.), definitely something up with the sandwich we received. Eating it was not as satisfying and I could only think that the meat was contaminated or expired, buyer beware, reports from April 2021 show other issues with them | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Other
