I’ve noticed it since April 2022, It started after eating Lucky Charms cereal I’ve purchased both off brand & name brand Lucky Charms from Dollar General in Rocky Mount, Family Dollar in Rocky Mount, Walmart Supercenter in Hampton, VA & Dollar General in Towson, MD. I've gotten sick a couple times now from Dollar General foods - or at least right after eating dollar General foods ... I won't say where but on the west coast ... Once after frozen broccoli and once after summer sausage that just didn't smell or taste right. I think they may let frozen foods sit and thaw out then re-freeze them - you can tell by the taste, and that affects the expiration dates.

I just opened one of the bags of the caramel and sea salt and there's definitely something wrong with them. They have a horrible flavor and the bag actually smells like the cookies taste. I wanted to be sure it wasn't just me so I had my father and my daughter try a bite of one and they said the same thing. The sell by date is May of this year so I don't know what's wrong with them but something definitely is. They were awful. I just wanted to report it in case there's something really wrong.
