My 4 year old and 5 year old daughters ate raw spinach salad while I consumed a little of the spinach but cooked it with rice. Two others in the household did not have any of the spinach, cooked or raw, for dinner. About three hours after dinner, my daughters started vomiting in their beds and were up about every twenty minutes for the next four hours, either vomiting or dry heaving. After one last puke from my 5yo at around 9am when she woke up, they were all better. | Symptoms: Vomiting

Spinach is mildly poisonous uncooked. Adults can handle it in small doses but small children should only have it cooked
