Family Sick; Hospitalized from Meal - McDonald's, St. Augustine Florida

My entire family got violently ill after eating at the McDonald’s off 95 at 2340 St Rd 16. (On 8/31/24) We all got the 5$ meal including cheese burgers, chicken nuggets and French fries. My husband started getting sick on Sunday and became violently ill with stomach cramps, diarrhea, cold sweats and throwing up for 2 days, by Tuesday he was able to get up out of bed. I started getting sick on Monday same symptoms, throwing up, gas, terrible cramping, headache, hot and cold sweats. My son was sick on Wednesday with nausea and diarrhea, he was better within 48 hours. I never got got better, I got worse and by Wednesday 9/4 I had to call an ambulance, I was in the worst pain in my life. I have been through hell! I had a bowl perforation from the McDonald’s poison in my body. I had to have a drain surgically implanted in my abdomen to remove the poison in my body. I’m still in the hospital after 9 days of being here. The medical team is slowly helping with my recovery while they put my body back together. I’m extremely angry and when I’m well I promise to write a letter to congress about the dangers of McDonald’s and their health practices! I would NEVER in my life eat in that filthy, unsanitary sorry excuse for a food establishment ever in my life again. Eating at McDonald’s can kill you and Washington DC needs to protect consumers against places like this!!! | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Diarrhea, Gas
