40-42 Adelaide Road, Gawler South, 5118 South Australia, Australia
I went there on Saturday the 5th February, 2022 at around 4 - 5.30 p.m.My Daughter ordered three soft serve cones as well as two large cokes for herself, my little Granddaughter and myself.
When we returned home, I had not consumed my coke and placed it in the fridge to keep it fresh. On Sunday evening 06/02/22 at between 6 - 7 p.m., I took about two sips from the coke carton and, I realised the coke tasted off and decided to place it in the bin, I had also consumed a slice of Pavlova, on Sunday 06/02/2022, and a Blueberry Muffin with a cup of coffee. The following Monday morning about 5.00 a.m. I began experiencing severe stomache cramps togetherwith a pain which felt like a hit in the stomache from a truck.
I was so scared of these symptoms, I rang my doctor immediately after I had sat in the toilet for almost 2 hours . I do not think this pain was caused by the pavlova, muffin or coffee, but as a direct result of the vanilla ice cream and coke purchased from here on Saturday 05/02/22. The coke drink was absolutely tasteless and is what I believe to be the main cause for this illness.
I have made a recovery, but would just like to add, I had purchased a coke from them, from a restaurant at the Murray Bridge and threw that in the bin after the first sip, it tasted like sea water. I didn't report it because, I was half way back to Adelaide and didn't have time and I did not think to report it, because I discarded the contents shortly after buying the coke, therefore I felt okay and did not experience any food poisoning at the time. | Symptoms: Nausea, Cramps, Stomach Pain
