I received a complimentary Best of menu. I chose a McWrap Chicken bacon, fries, a Fanta. And a caramel sundae. My 3 and a half year old son ate the meal with me and he also drank the beverage. The fries were very hot because I asked to have them changed. The sandwich however was not hot and the drink was not very fizzy. We ate around 1:50 PM. Within 20 minutes that followed, my son and I felt enormous stomach pains and we both had diarrhea 4 times in a row. My son afterwards was very tired and weak. He started to have a fever of 39° that same evening around 7 PM. Today is Friday February 6, 2026 and my son still has a fever of 38.6. Despite the paracetamol. This is not the first time we have had digestive problems at the McDonald's in Robert. But I had a complimentary menu and since I live nearby I wanted to get it at Robert as well to eat it while hot.... I think the origin of the food poisoning is the sandwich or the Fanta drink. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Weakness
