Mussels, Oysters: Severe Reaction - New World Kapiti Kapiti Road, Wellington Wellington

I purchased a half kilo of green lip mussels on 16 March. My partner is vegetarian. She did not eat the mussels. I prepared them "at home." Steamed for 3 minutes or until open. Two days later I had uncontrollable diarrhea, bloating, gas, and some vomiting. Today is the first day that I have felt that my digestive system is okay, a little more than 2 weeks later. The pain was extreme and excruciating. I lost over 3 kilos of weight. About week prior, about 7 March I purchased raw oyters from the same supermarket. I ate them raw and within hours had extreme diarrhea. Fortunately, there was no following symptoms. There was absolute nothing else that I ate in the days before mussels that was unusual.
