Buffet Food Safety Issues - Occidental Punta Cana, Punta Cana La Altagracia

I had two different food poisoning issues while staying at this resort from 4/22-29, 2026. The first was diarrhea on the second day. The second was severed vomiting, diarrhea and nausea lasting for 4 days directly from eating in the resort's buffet restaurant. Food always cold, never anyone testing the food temperature, cooking properly or avoiding contamination procedures. Horrible! I have never been sick whatsover in my life traveling the world. Never. Hamburgers and pork not fully cooked. Cooked in piles on the grill, never flat to ensure fully cooked through. Food not turned after setting, when new batches brought out to the buffet from the kitchen. Just mixed in with the other uncooked or older food. Additionally, there is a massive sewage line break behind building 10 that we sloshed through without knowing until we could smell urine on our feet and legs. A major health concern for us and health threat to other kids, particularly kids playing in the grass unbeknownst to them and other guests. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
