Senior Ill: Fish & Chips - Ocean Basket Gordon's Bay, Cape Town Western Cape

6 years ago reported by user-kxpk2687 business

Ocean Basket Gordon's Bay, Breakwater Lane, Harbour Island, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

1 Breakwater Lane, Cape Town, 7140 Western Cape, South Africa

My 70 year old husband had Fish and chips with rice. (No alcohol, only bottled water. ) Fish tasted fine but within 5 hours he had violent, repeated vomiting and diarrhoea (often at the same time) followed by chills from 1 a.m to 6.45 a.m. dehydration followed, Symptoms started within 5 hours and were particularly severe for the next 6 hours. At time of writing, 9 a.m., he is back in the bathroom with diarrhoea. We'll seek medical help if symptoms don't abate, and certainly rehydration aids. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Dehydration, Chills
