I ate here yesterday at noon (4/11/17). I ordered the plate with Chow mein, five flavored shrimp and black pepper chicken. I immediately felt discomfort and an unsettling feeling when I returned to work. My symptoms didn't appear until the evening around 6:30pm. I hadn't eaten anything else all day. The vomiting and diarrhea occurred on and off since 8pm last night and it's still occurring at 12pm today. Severe food poisoning on 10/30/23 after eating at Panda Inn in 201 N Maryland Ave, Glendale, CA 91206. Severe diarrhea and abdominal pain after eating a dish with shrimp which had a very fishy aroma. I ate 3-4 shrimp and have 3 left in the container. The aroma of bacteria filled shrimp and rot was intense. I assumed it may have been ok from a trusted restaurant such as Panda Inn. The receipt shows the order was #46***. Please see attached photo of receipt & food. This is the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced & it lasted 4 days!! [*** UPDATE 11/3/23: LA County inspected Panda Inn Glendale based on this complaint. Apparently, they are allowed to cook Crab Wontons in batches, and let them sit out for 4 hours at a time on a tray. Also, they are not required to wear gloves, so food handling and hygiene can play a part too. The shrimp were stored at temperature I was told, but the ones on my plate smelled like "rotten fish" and had a very fishy smell.] I was told that I was the only complaint - maybe that's because I called the restaurant 6x that evening and they did not answer or picked up and hung up. The most commonly reported symptoms from Olive Garden food poisoning are nausea and diarrhea and the most common diagnosis is Salmonella. The bacteria can cause bloody diarrhea, cramps, and fever.

Eltahan of Paterson, New Jersey is recalling 400 gm packages of Eltahan Golden Raisins, because it may contain undeclared sulfites. Eltahan Gold Raisins was distributed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania to consumers through retail stores. No illnesses have been reported to date.
People who have... See More an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled Eltahan Golden Raisins are packaged in a 400 gram, clear plastic package, with UPC 2337660022. The product is labeled with a production date of January 2023 and a best by date of January 20, 2026, which can be found on the bottom right side of the front label.
The recall was initiated after routine sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets found sulfites in the product which was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of sulfites. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes.
Production and distribution of the product has been suspended until FDA and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected. Consumers who have purchased Eltahan Golden Raisins are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
