Got food poisoning from panera on telegraph on dec 6. Ordered the Baja warm rice bowl with chicken. I could have got sick from the chicken or avocado or maybe cross contatimination of romaine since this location still serves it even under the recall.I reported the event to the panera manager and I reported it to my countys health dept.
Took pics of the vomit that lasted four hours.
I recorded a video on my iPhone of the event that included the important details in case I need it for later.
Not sure why I got so sick but it was DEF food poisoning. I had extreme diarrhea and vomiting, sweats and chills, fever, tried to take a hot bath but then I got up and that’s when the vomit started and continued for four hours. My stomach felt so unsettled and raw but now it’s getting better.
I had a funny feeling as I was eating the bowl last night. It just didn’t sit right with me and the food was cold-Luke warm not hot warm.
Guess I was right unfortunately!
Went straight to sleep at 7pm after ordering and eating at 6pm.
Woke up at 2am to start food poisoning episode. Ended around 830am.
Oh, and the bowl was literally all I ate yesterday. It could not have been anything else!
