We stayed for a week. We were already nervous with all the media coverage of deaths here, but went away. You never think this can happen to you until it does. We went about our day eating and drinking like usual. But a few days in, I woke up and was miserable. Throwing up over and over. Extreme diarrhea. Continuous fatigue and nausea. It just did not get better. I couldn’t eat or drink anything for over 24 hours. The next day I could only eat saltine crackers and drink ginger ale. This is a high class resort and I didn’t imagine it happening to me there. Just be careful what you eat and drink because I have no clue what caused it. Could’ve been undercooked meat or fish, or tainted alcohol. Everything is an open option because you never know. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fatigue
