We got dinner to go on the night of 8/29, got chicken kabob plate and gyro kabob plate. It came with side greAk salad, hummus and the naan. We got side sauces plus salad dressing. My wife’s symptoms started the next morning. Diarrhea that wouldn’t stop, followed by chills and shivering, 100.4 F fever and the vomiting. This was followed by abdominal cramps which still come and go a week after the infection is cleared. I developed symptoms the next day with diarrhea and fever. Both of us at chicken, my wife ate more- she got way more sick then I did most likely because I ate less of the chicken. I ate the gyro to its entirety but didn’t get so sick. I attribute this immunity to bacteria because my gut is used to street food in India. However, whatever meat was contaminated did the damage as multiple people reported being sick.So far the restaurant has not done anything to provide us compensation but has only made verbal promises to take care of us during our next visit. Not required anymore I guess. This stuff doesn’t make you angry but gets your irritated because we trust and pay top dollar to eat good food. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Chills, Cramps
