Pecan Reaction: Swelling, Diarrhea - Costco, Louisville Kentucky

Ate about 2 dozen Kirkland fancy pecan halves from a new, just opened, 2lb bag. Within seconds, right side of throat felt tight and right side of neck and face swelled up to a painful degree (ear and jaw pain). Had 3 quick episodes of diarrhea. Took antihistamine every 4 hours for 3 days to reduce swelling. After 5 days, swelling is mostly gone, but the duration of it caused mild sinus and ear bacterial infections, which will take more time to resolve. I have no known food allergies and have always eaten pecans. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Swelling
