Food Safety Report: Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Enchanted Parkway South, Federal Way, WA, United States.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Enchanted Parkway South, Federal Way, WA, United States

My wife picked up an order of fried chicken. a 16 pc combo, Large red Beans, Large Fry, Large mack and cheese, Large Sweet Tea. Friday November 10th, 2017 @ 5:27 PM
approximately 1 to 1-1/2 hours after eating my younger son (*15 y/o) and i both started feeling sick. Nauseated, and sweaty. we both spent the night, and all of the next day and into Sunday morning, vomiting and also, in my case, diarrhea, which lasted thru Tuesday of the next week.
My wife and older son never experienced any symptoms. in my older sons case he had not eaten any of the food from popeyes, and in my wife case she had eaten much less but also not all of the same items my younger son and i had eaten. she had consumed part of one breast, but no wings which my son and i both had eaten. she also never ate any of the sauces. my son and i had used their Louisiana hot sauce (?) and a (spicy ?) Ranch, nor had she eaten any of the red beans.
on Wednesday morning 11-15-17', when i finally was feeling close to normal, I called the store and asked to speak to the manager, the man answering the phone said he was the manager and asked the reason i was calling. I told him my son and i had gotten food poisoning from their store. He advised me he wasn't authorized to deal with that issue, asked for my phone number and immediately started asking if i had visited a doctor. i advised him i didn't want to give out my phone number, and said whether i had visited a doctor wasn't relevant at this time. I asked for the number for his supervisor or a corporate number for someone who was authorized, he refused, citing policy. i told him i could just report it on social media if that was what he preferred and he told me i could do whatever i wanted to, i agreed and hung up. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
