Lunched with a friend at Portillo's Springfield IL yesterday (Sunday May 4 2025). Her choice; I'd never been there before - and will NEVER go again. Barely made it home & out of my car before I became nauseated. Vomiting & diarrhea over the past 26 hours. My order was for Italian Beef & cheddar on a croissant. Supposed to include sweet peppers, but not found. Nor was the croissant; it was a regular bun. NEVER AGAIN. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
