I had a turkey/Swiss sandwich with lettuce, tomato, jalapeño peppers, and mustard. This was on Saturday night. I started feeling extremely nauseas on Sunday, the next day, around 5pm. My boyfriend drove 2 1/2 hours home and I was puking the whole way home. Got home and had severe vomiting and diarrhea and severe stomach pain to the point I had to go to the ER. I had a high white blood cell count so my body has been fighting an infection. Doctor said it was either a virus or food poisoning. I could barely walk and was also very weak and was having trouble breathing. They took X-rays, but there were no blockages. I had two IV bags with Benadryl and fluid which helped a little and then was released to go home. Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
