So recalls go into a computer system and an associate follows that the prompt to go to the locations and remove the items. However, this system is not foolproof. On occasion the items are coming in from suppliers and the supply Warehouse where it should have been caught on that level and it will have different expiration dates put in the system which affects the recall list.
