Caesar Salad Illness Suspected - Red Lobster,

10 years ago reported by user-prxd6855

Red Lobster
Had dinner with a friend here at approx 6:45P on Friday, 5/8/15. Ordered a Caeser Salad with the NY Strip (well-done) and Rock Lobster Tail combo dinner plate, - with water to drink. Only ate the salad and about three bites of the NY Strip - (did not eat any of the cheese biscuits they brought as a complimentary appetizer, nor any of the Roc Lobster Tail that came with the dinner). Also ate a few bites of the mashed potatoes that came with the meal, - but not any of the steamed broccoli I had ordered as the optional side item. Stomach felt bad about an hour later at home. About 3-4 hours after the meal (around 10P), started experiencing severe cramping with the onset of diarrhea, which has now been reoccurring over the past 4-5 hours (now 2:28A on Saturday, 5/9/2015). Finally starting to feel a little better, but it was either the Caesar Salad (which did not look that good) or the NY Strip (again, ordered and cooked well-done) that has to be at the root cause of what I have been experiencing. (Only had a bowl of cereal for a late brunch about 10:40A, and I am a physically fit and healthy 39-year old male with no health issues). All I will additIonally share is that I will never eat at this location again...and it will likely be a while before I can bring myself to try eating at Red Lobster again. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps
