Shrimp-Salmon Illness Alert - Red Lobster, Kentwood Michigan

Dined at Red Lobster on 8/1 around 7:30-8 pm. Got the new Orleans salmon that had a sauce and shrimp. With a group of 6. No one else seems to be ill, but I was the only one with shrimp or salmon as part of my dish. I suspect that to be the culprit given that I got violently nauseous and vomiting and clammy about 4 hours later, feeling slowly unwell and building about 2 hours before that. I do not get sick easily and eat seafood on a regular basis, so this is not new to my digestive system to cause a reaction. Prior to red lobster, the only thing I ate that day was a slice of pizza around noon, and did not feel ill in the slightest until a few hours after red lobster (started around 10pm feeling unwell, and threw up around midnight). Given the time frame, I feel confident it wasn't the slice of pizza.

Staff was great and friendly on a side note, amazing service. I just have concerns if something wasn't stored properly recently and want to catch this before it potentially happens to another. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Chills
