Dear Sir / Madam,I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding our dining experience and food poisoning at Cervejaria Ramiro on 7 Jan 2026.
My family of three dined at the restaurant in the evening. Within a few hours after returning to our hotel, all three of us began experiencing severe symptoms of food poisoning, including continuous vomiting and diarrhoea.
The symptoms started at approximately 11:00 pm and persisted throughout the night until around 5:00 am, with repeated vomiting and diarrhoea. This caused significant physical distress, dehydration, and disrupted our travel plans.
None of us had consumed any other food after leaving the restaurant, and all three of us became ill within the same timeframe, which strongly suggests that the illness was linked to the meal consumed at the restaurant.
This incident is extremely concerning, particularly given your restaurant’s reputation and the potential health risks involved. Food poisoning is a serious matter, and we believe this warrants immediate investigation into food handling, storage, and hygiene practices.
We would appreciate:
• investigation regarding this incident
• Confirmation that this matter will be properly investigated
• Information on what remedial actions will be taken to prevent similar occurrences
