Raw Bacon, Undercooked Sandwich - Starbucks, San Diego California

7 years ago reported by user-mwfx6615 business

Starbucks, Hazard Center Drive, Mission Valley, San Diego, CA, USA

7610 Hazard Center Drive, San Diego, 92108 California, United States

My boss ordered me a egg sandwhich and they had to throw it out due to bacon not being cooked. It was raw and I asked them for anew one. They said yes but next time to let them know that I want it cooked inside as well, to open up sandwhich and cook it fully.
I didn’t know it’s my job to tell them how to properly cook the food.
I’ve felt sick for weeks with abdominal pain and nausea.
I will be going to doctor if next week this does not get better. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea

Hey, I am in San Diego as well. I ordered an Egg Bacon Gouda Sandwhich (El Cajon). I was hospitalized and found out I had salmonella poisoning. I'm trying to take legal action as I was diagnosed a week later with Erytoma Nodomus...the bacteria went to my blood. I have rashes all over my legs and arthritis in my left wrist and both ankles as a result of salmonella poisoning.

My father and I both got salmonella from eating the tomato and mozarrela panini in 2 different locations. He had the same sandwich in San Diego and I had the same sandwich in Yorba Linda a couple days later.
