Me & my fiancé went there at about 7pm last night. I noticed when we walked in that it felt unusually warm, & the sun was hitting the counter directly. I got a turkey sub, my fiancé got the rotisserie chicken sub. A few hours later, I started shaking & feeling nauseous. I ended up throwing up 4 or 5 times before making it home. A few weeks ago my husband and I got sick after eating Lucky Charms. Hours after both of us ate the cereal, my husband was admitted into the hospital with food poisoning. A day later I had to leave his side and head down to the ER to get fluids after hours in his hospital bathroom.

The voluntary recall is due to the FDAs ongoing investigation of an outbreak involving Malichita brand cantaloupe. The cantaloupes have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The... See More products were distributed between October 18th - 26th in California, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin, and sold in various retail supermarkets. To date, Pacific Trellis Fruit has not received any reports of illness.
Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy people may experience fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (which may be bloody), and abdominal pain. In rare cases the organism can get into the bloodstream and produce more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The whole cantaloupe is packed in corrugated cartons, the price look-up sticker is labeled “Malichita”.

Mexico products scare me. USDA only test small amounts and trucks drive on to deliver. Some products are done eaten and people sicken before they get the tests results back. All this world trade is good for some but if you’re the one sick and suffering or dead then you’re the loser. The worse thing to happen to our foodstuffs is when FDA approved doubling sulfur levels in animals foodstuffs. This also increases in human foods as well. It’s coming from wet milling grains with sulfuric acids type chemicals to separate grains into different parts for more processing
