Rodent Issues Prompt Closure - Sunoco, New Castle Delaware

Closure Date: 10/24/2019A Sunoco Food Mart in New Castle was temporarily closed by the health department after a state official found two dead mice in a trap behind the hot dog warmer unit. The Division of Public health ordered the business, due an "imminent health hazard" and "gross unsanitary conditions," according to the inspection report.
During the inspection, the state official found droppings inside the soda machine cabinet, as well as a live mouse behind the soda machine, according to the report. Rodent droppings were seen in all of the wood cabinets.
