I went to eat with my child on 7/18/23 and we both had steak. I had the ft worth ribeye and got extremely sick while my child had the ny strip. My symptoms are more severe than my child’s. We both are experiencing hot flashes, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and fatigue. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fatigue

Noroviruses are a group of related viruses. Infection with these viruses causes an illness called gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the stomach and intestines.
Norovirus, sometimes referred to as the winter vomiting disease, is the most common cause of gastroenteritis. Infection is characterized by non-bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Fever or headaches may also occur. Symptoms usually develop 12 to 48 hours after being exposed, and recovery typically occurs within one to three days. Complications are uncommon, but may include dehydration, especially in the young, the old, and those with other health problems.
It has gotten to the point where I don't want to eat anywhere because people touch your food AND WHAT IF THEY ARE SICK?!
