Sushi Illness, Two Affected - The Madness, Asheville North Carolina

2 years ago reported by user-hdjbm386 business

The Madness, Smokey Park Highway, Asheville, NC, USA

275 Smokey Park Highway, Asheville, 28806 North Carolina, United States

My wife, brother in law and I ate at The Madness on Smoky Park this past Saturday, January 6. My BNL and I had hamburgers and my wife had sushi. She gave me the last piece of her roll and she ate the rest. Neither of us ate again that day, except for an orange Saturday night. Sunday morning we were both very sick. She was vomiting and had diarrhea. I had severe nausea. My symptoms lasted over 2 days. Hers lasted 4 days. My BNL did not get sick. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

I'm sorry to hear this! When I first moved to Asheville 3 years ago, I ate there 2x. 1st time was fine, but then the 2nd time I got very bad food poisoning from their burger. It was undercooked and tasted very old. Had to go to urgent care! Hope everyone is feeling better.
