I ate at the restaurant with a guest during the afternoon on 8/5. I got sick and my guest did not. I had a meal of pot stickers (dumplings), mongolian beef, and complimentary water. We were informed by the waiter that the complimentary water was tap water. My guest didnt trust tap water so they chose to have a sprite and noodles. At the time it made no difference to me. This was the only meal I had all day. Within an hour I developed an extreme stomach ache and wanted to go home. By the time I took the train back to the suburbs I developed extreme chills, my teeth were chattering, and could not stop sweating. At 1 am I was extremely dizzy and weak, and camped on the toilet with diarrhea. I am a male in my twenties, and live in a home with an elderly parent that has a special walk-in tub with grab bars for their needs. I felt so weak and dizzy that I could barely use this tub. The next day my parent got sick. I tried to eat bread and bananas and drink bottled water, while I didnt vomit I did sometimes regurgitate my food and liquids and had trouble keeping them down. I dont feel sick to my stomach anymore but its hard to eat and im extremely tired. I still have diarrhea and a fever. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Sweating
