Not a surprise I use to work at Walmart. Watch for if the product is above the line in the bunker bays and never pick from the top if so try to go for middle to bottom, new stuff is normally thrown on top but Walmart fails to follow health standards when it comes to frozen goods (i.e. product isn't allow to sit out of freezer for longer than 30 minutes) Advice I'd give anyone shopping Walmart. Did you rinse them off before eating them? It's odd to get sick from grapes if you mind the taste (if it tastes off or bad or old spit it out), also if you rinse them off.

Hi, thanks so much for your comment. It is possible to get food poisoning from grapes. Red, black, and green grapes could become contaminated in the field and if they aren't handled correctly and washed thoroughly before eating, they can give you food poisoning. Common symptoms of grapes food poisoning are diarrhea and vomiting.

Queensland Health investigators identified the M & J Chickens’ easy serve breast fillet shredded chicken as the probable cause of a nationwide Listeria outbreak. Currently, there are 9 confirmed cases spread across Queensland (5), New South Wales (3), and Victoria (1). The implicated product is sold in... See More commercial quantities and is generally used by restaurants, cafes and hospitals. The investigation is ongoing.

The strain of Listeria found in the chicken samples matched that isolated from patients in Queensland, further strengthening the linkage. 4 cases were likely contracted at the Mater Hospital, and one other possibly at Redcliffe Hospital, according to Queensland Health Chief Health Officer Dr. John Gerrard.

The affected product is M&J Chickens, Easy serve breast fillet shredded chicken, 2kg pack size – commercial quantity. Marked as chilled by 16/10/2023. Batch code: A5497

The official recall of the product is pending, but establishments and individuals in possession of the chicken have been urged to cease its use. Queensland public hospitals are being instructed not to use this product.

In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 58,281 pounds of ground beef products by American Foods Group, LLC, doing business as Green Bay Dressed Beef, LCC that may be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) O103. These products were shipped to distributors in Georgia, Michigan and... See More Ohio. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The recalled products are:
- Approximately 80-lb. cases containing 10-lb. plastic tubes (chubs) of "90050 BEEF FINE GROUND 81/19" with lot code D123226026.
- Approximately 80-lb. cases containing 10-lb. plastic tubes (chubs) of "20473 BEEF HALAL FINE GROUND 73/27" with lot code D123226027.
- Approximately 80-lb. cases containing 10-lb. plastic tubes (chubs) of "20105 BEEF FINE GROUND 73/27" with lot code D123226027.

The raw, ground beef items were produced on Aug. 14, 2023 and bear the establishment number "EST. 18076" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The problem was discovered when FSIS was notified that a sample collected by a state public health partner tested positive for the presence of E. coli O103.

Clinical labs often don't test for non-O157 STEC like O103 due to its challenging identification. Symptoms of infection can appear 2-8 days after exposure, typically causing diarrhea, vomiting, and sometimes severe illness. Diagnosis involves stool sample testing, with treatment mainly focusing on rehydration and support; antibiotics are usually not recommended. While most recover within a week, a few may experience severe complications like Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS), more common in young children, older adults, and those with weakened immunity, characterized by bruising, pallor, and reduced urine output, requiring immediate medical attention for those with such symptoms.

Distributors and other customers who have purchased these products for further processing should not use them or further distribute them.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
