30 Nov 2022, Served shrimp appetizer and salmon entree in business class. Five hours later into the flight, became violently ill. I passed out on the way to the bathroom, was incapacitated and unable to stand up, and then experienced violent vomiting on the galley floor, followed by diarrhea (luckily got to the bathroom for that phase). the thing about this and a lot of these airline food complaints is: if it was the food you were served on the flight and multiple other people had eaten that as well, you'd all be sick. food poisoning can take literal weeks to show symptoms after consumption. not to say that it's impossible it was the airplane food, but it's unlikely with the given details.

TIP: How, when, and if you become ill after eating contaminated food will depend on the ‘bug’, but also the amount of exposure, your age, and your health, so is not the same experience for everyone. Regarding the onset, if the contamination is chemical or physical, symptoms can start within minutes. If it is biological contamination, it can start as fast as 30 minutes (e.g. Staph). Other types of contamination can take longer, it all depends on what it was, but it can be fast. Have a really good day!
