Waffle House #478 located at Roebuck Drive (next to Baymont Hotel) in Meridian MS. Exposure on (Friday) January 2, 2026, around 6pm. Confirmed case of campylobacter at hospital ER visit on January 5,2025. Patient (M adult) ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal which appeared fine at delivery to table. Patient stated later overhearing cook mentioning she was “fighting with the grill” to another coworker and regular patron sitting at bar. This information now seems pertinent. Patient confirmed still experiencing symptoms on January 6, 2026. | Symptoms: Diarrhea
