Purchased her on May 2, 2022. I have the purchase details still in my cell phone app showing order details. On May 14th, 2022 I became ill with diarrhea and vomiting while at work. I ate a peanut butter sandwich before work that afternoon and took an extra sandwich with me to work that I also ate. These sandwiches were made from the jar of Jif that I purchased from here that was later recalled. The vomiting and diarrhea continued and I went to see my provider on May 16, 2022. I’m diabetic and my glucose was dropping to the 50’s and I could not hold anything down to bring it up. I was unable to work as I was schedule on the night of May 16th. I had to call off my shift. My provider did labs and determined my CRP was elevated and she put me on an antibiotic called Cefnir. My abdomen was tender and I was sore from heaving. I was also prescribed Zofran for nausea. With the zofran on hand I forced myself to go back to work on the night of May 17th. I was unable to finish my shift due to nausea and vomiting and low blood glucose levels that sent me to the ER at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tn. on May 18th. I was given a bolus of D10 and later sent home. I suffered the entire week. I received an email from this place about the recall on May 24th suggesting that I may have purchased a contaminated jar of jif. I checked out the codes and it’s a sure match. I believe I was sick because of the contaminated Jif peanut butter that I ate when all the sickness started. There’s no doubt I had poisoning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
