“Blue crabs I bought live blue crabs. Brought them home, put them into the sink and rinsed them off before steaming them for 30 minutes. Took one out to taste test, it was fine. Started to eat another when I noticed it had a slight ammonia smell. Took 2 more out, both smelled strongly of ammonia.... Asked my mom for her opinion, she suggested maybe a longer cooking time. Turned heat back on and streamed the crabs in the pot for sn additional 15 minutes. Took them out hoping it'll be good. Nope. Every one of them stunk of ammonia. Threw everything away. 20 minutes later, terrible stomach pains. Diarreha, pain in right lower abdomen. That was at 6pm. The discomfort in the right lower abdomen is still here. It's now close to midnight. The pain is about a 3 and is intermittent. ”

“pork ears or pork feet, that I bought from shop. I make a stew from meats I bought there, and few hours later me and my husband start feel pain in belly and and next day start have diarrhea. Meats that butcher bring from freezer(pork ears) didn’t have any dates, only when he put price tag on( same... day of course). ”

“I had Beans and Greens soup, beer batter Haddock, and French fries at 8 pm, by 6am I had stomach pains, chills, backache, and major watery diarrheal. Every 20 minutes or less I had to run to the bathroom. It’s 1pm and my intestines are hurting and I still have watery diarrhea . I’m not someone wh... o gets diarrhea, now my anus is burning. Sister had something different, I’m the only one who got sick. Ate At 8pm, 6am I’m in the bathroom. 1 pm and I still have the trots, intestines are burning. ”

“I ordered the The Millard Zpecial, and lemonade. My husband and I both ate chips, salsa and queso blanco. He had a personal pizza and beer. He only took a bite of mine. I only ate half of the The Millard Zpecial, I saved the other half. After 2hrs I was throwing up my whole meal for at least an hour... . Plus diarrhea. During that hour I was sweating profusely. I had nothing left in me after that. My husband had to help me to bed because I was so weak. ”

Last night I had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza n 2 med Buffalo bone out chicken and a bottle water. Immediately after my consumption of my dinner I became very nauseous n had to run to the... camode I have been having very frequent bowl movement still, it’s been beyond 12 hours I was going to go get some Pepto-Bismol but had to cancel due to bowl movement and unable to control my release. That was the only food I had since I am un able to relocate my position. I am seeking medical attention n will have to call out work due to my embarrassing situation I won’t make it down stairs where the men’s room is located. I’ve never had anything like this n I’ve called the nurse hotline she replied to stay hydrated preferably pedilite. ”

“Chicken fettuccine My sister ordered the chicken/pea fettuccine for dinner last night. I ate half, stored the remaining half for the next day. Felt nauseous & dizzy an hour after eating, figured it was because I hadn’t eaten all day. Went to sleep for a few hours, awakened at 5am to extreme dizzine... ss & nausea. I’m not sure how my sister is feeling, as I’ve been stuck in bed. But she went to sleep immediately after eating also, so she’s probably displaying the same symptoms ”

“The CFIA announced the recall of certain Manila clams by Evergreen International Foodstuffs Ltd. because of a marine biotoxin which causes Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
CFIA advises consumers not to eat the... recalled products and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. The products were distributed to British Columbia and Ontario. Paralytic shellfish toxins are a group of natural toxins that sometimes accumulate in bivalve shellfish that include oysters, clams, scallops, mussels, and cockles. Non-bivalve shellfish, such as whelks, can also accumulate Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP) toxins. These toxins can cause Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP) if consumed. Symptoms of Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP) include tingling and numbness of the lips, tongue, hands, and feet, and difficulty swallowing with an onset of a few minutes and up to 10 hours after consumption. In severe situations, this can proceed to difficulty walking, muscle paralysis, respiratory paralysis, and death.

Recall details: Wismettac Asian Foods, I... nc., Santa Fe Springs, CA is issuing a voluntary recall for Shirakiku brand imported Dried Fungus (also known as Black Fungus or Kikurage) because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
The product was distributed to restaurants in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and British Columbia in Canada.

Wismettac is initiating the recall after the California Department of Public Health discovered the presence of Salmonella in the product. The manufacturer has been made aware of the issue and is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the issue so corrections can be implemented.
To ensure consumer safety, all distribution of the affected product has ceased and restaurant customers have been notified for the product removal. Consumers with questions may contact the company at email@example.com.

local store with an expiration date of 10/27/2020. It had a weird vomit like flavor and it made me sick. I called Walmart’s customer support and they don’t seem to be interested at all to know if one of their products could be... contaminated. The only response: „ if our product made you sick you can file a claim.“ ”

“Pancakes Went to breakfast with my mother weds morning at 1030am, we both had pancakes. She had bacon as well and I had eggs and hashbrowns with mine. That evening we both started showing signs of poison with nausea and diarrhea. We have both continued to be sick for the last 3 days. ”
