Discounted Beef Causes Illness - Woolworths, Burwood East Victoria

2 years ago reported by user-dhvw4336 business

Woolworths Burwood Brickworks, Middleborough Road, Burwood East VIC, Australia

78 Middleborough Road, Burwood East, 3151 Victoria, Australia

Bought 2 discounted packs of diced beef, was only 3 days older than new packs being sold and still looked decent (best before date was purchase date and I cooked it that day as well). Made a stew that I've made many times before, and had pretty bad diarrhoea the next morning. Identified which foods I had been eating that day and ate only 1 dish to try and isolate which dish was making me ill, and the stew was the culprit. Maybe they shouldn't be selling raw meat that's been on the shelf too long? | Symptoms: Diarrhea
